FOCLS (Friends of Crook Log School)

Dear all Crook Log Parents/Carers

 F.O.C.L.S is a group of volunteers who are focussed on putting on fun events for the Children and their Families and raising valuable funds to support the School and its community. We would love to have your support for all the events we organise to benefit our children, please join us, get in touch if you’d like to speak to us, volunteer, or help in any way!

 

Our Key Objectives:

Raise money for Crook Log School & its community.

To support the wellbeing of our children in what is a financially challenging time.

To create fun events and create an inclusive community for all to enjoy.

Improve Parent / Carers participation – we have seen a real improvement in volunteer; however, we need more to make sure we can really make an impact for the school.

Cecilia Wilmot - Chairperson

Hi, I am Cecilia and I have a son called Harry who is in Year 5 at Crook Log and two much older children. One of my great passions in life is reading, myself when I have time, and with children. I’m currently using some of my time to volunteer in school hearing the children read.

I really enjoying getting more involved in school life and meeting children and their families.

Terri Franklin 

 I am Terri, I have 2 children currently at crook log Karenza-Marie in year 6 and Beaux-Rose in year 4. I also have an older child who attended Crook log and I attended the school myself many moons go!!!
I have been helping with FOCLS since my oldest was in nursery and have loved watching FOCLS and Crook Log grow and progress during those 10 years and before!
The events we put on are forever getting bigger and better and I can’t wait to be part of where we’re going next.

Rebecca Leaf- Treasurer

Hi, I am Becky. I am a mum of three, with two daughters currently at the school in Year 2 and 5. I joined FOCLS two years ago and have been the Treasurer ever since, using my background in finance to help manage the funds for our events. I got involved because I wanted to give something back to the community and help create memorable experiences for the children. I love seeing FOCLS continue to grow, putting on fun events for the children to look forward to while raising money to make the school even better.
